Synopsis

The chapter focuses on Park Ye Jun beginning his first trial, which involves overcoming the 'evil desires of the heart.' The village is shown to have mostly adapted to the sudden presence of hunters, though some, like Min Seo Rin, are still considered odd. Ye Jun meditates in various places around the village, and Hawk Ice, initially resistant, seems to have a moment of enlightenment and flies away.
