Synopsis

The chapter begins with a warning about a curse for refusing the Demon King, which is then placed upon the protagonist. He decides to act as a decoy for a giant enemy, buying time for his allies to evacuate. He plans to clear the floor quickly despite complications due to the removal of return stones. A mysterious entity called 'Rotting Heart' takes an interest in the protagonist, offering him a chance to become a powerful 'Dark Apostle' but at the cost of becoming the Demon King's pawn.
