Synopsis

Guild representatives are shocked when the player who single-handedly cleared the first floor, 'Unknown', appears on a video call. They try to recruit him, but he refuses, citing his 'comrade' as his reason. He declares he will solo the next floor and requests the area be blocked, seemingly to the guilds' benefit. The chapter ends with Unknown revealing he knows of a lurking threat and then purchases a seemingly useless array of items for his upcoming challenge.
