Synopsis

The chapter reveals that Belthor is the creator of Barrier Arts, a skill he dedicated his life to but that no one cared about. Despite this, a friend encourages him, saying his passion still has value. Belthor, inspired, creates a new barrier spell to protect Alice, who is being attacked by her former clan members. He is then offered a contract to help Alice regain her position, granting him access to new, powerful magic.
