Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist and his companions settling into their newly conquered fortress. They receive news that the Empire and Murim are sending delegations to negotiate for use of the fortress, showing the protagonist's growing influence. The protagonist challenges his team to a training exercise and makes a bet. The chapter also hints at a mysterious relic from the Demonic Humans and the protagonist's plans for using the fortress as a base and building a team.
