Synopsis

The chapter begins with a villain psychologically tormenting the protagonist, emphasizing his perceived weakness and responsibility for the suffering of someone important to him, while also revealing the saintess is succumbing to corruption. Subsequently, a powerful outsider, impressed by the hero's swordsmanship, offers him a chance to become stronger by traveling to Murim, and learn from the creator of the Soul-Chasing Sword. The hero declines the offer as it would disrupt his plans to save the corrupted saintess. The chapter then concludes with the hero seemingly agreeing to a deal with some unidentified entities in exchange for assistance.
