Synopsis

The protagonist progresses through the tower, defeating bosses and leveling up while also experiencing strange occurrences like a double impact. A higher-up reveals they were chasing the protagonist, who is then confronted by a powerful demon count named Machedroth. This demon reveals the protagonist is a dark disciple working for Demon King Veriel, but the protagonist expresses a desire to serve a different Demon King, showcasing their own ambition. The chapter ends with the demon count questioning the protagonist's worth.
