Synopsis

The chapter opens with the awakening of a chained monster, who appears to be communicating with the hunters and whose arrival fulfills a prophecy about a being born of death that broke a seal. The appearance of this monster also draws swarms of undead, and various characters are speculating about his power. Meanwhile, the Scavenger Guild ignores the other hunters and races to the boss room with the intention of taking ownership of a power that raises the dead. The chapter ends with the implication that the main character is more powerful than initially thought and a curiosity about his true nature.
