Synopsis

Instead of directly engaging a million-strong army, the protagonist appears to have escaped into the abyss, a move considered a strategic retreat. It is revealed, however, that he has reappeared amongst his enemy, a feat enabled by a maneuver or skill. He then contemplates his predecessor's mentality, resolving to take necessary actions despite the danger. The chapter ends with the protagonist facing a wave of enemies, signaling the start of the war.
