Synopsis

After defeating a Monarch and gaining a large amount of experience, the protagonist meets with a top-level hunter who reveals that the Rulers are manipulating magic energy to prepare for war against the Monarchs, turning Earth into a battleground. The protagonist learns that his power marks him as an enemy to both factions, and a spiritual being, forbidden to be a shadow soldier, pledges to help him. Despite the alliance, the protagonist senses something is wrong and feels like he is missing a crucial piece of information.
