Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the aftermath of the fight with the ant queen. The protagonist names his new shadow soldier 'Beru', who can speak, a unique trait among his shadows. Beru explains the queen's weakened state due to her reproductive capabilities and the protagonist decides not to collect essence stones except for one. The chapter ends with a call to arms as the remaining ants march toward the hunter's guild.
