Synopsis

Duke Jared, having decisively defeated the Cribias navy, offers their former admiral, Geniz, leadership over their now-unified forces and Liraqi, the coastal city, making it his navy's new base, funded by a vast amount of resources provided by Jared's territory. The chapter also highlights the importance of the hunters' guilds and infrastructure contributing to the funds. Geniz accepts the offer and is sent to persuade his long-time friend, Admiral Rook, at the next coastal city, Plasino, for a bloodless surrender, further expanding Jared's influence.
