Synopsis

After completing a main scenario, the protagonist receives a legendary growth-type skill book and a set of legendary earrings. He's then invited to a competition between disciples of the five heavens. Cardinal Carrot of the Thananos Church arrives to inform him about a dangerous enemy, the 'Rotting Death', and requests permission to operate within the protagonist's empire. The protagonist grants permission and decides to investigate the situation, deciding to hold off on main quests and instead focus on investigating the 'Rotting Death'.
