Synopsis

The protagonist is given a quest to investigate a portal on Toshyp Island by the Lethe people, a race that worships the god Toshyp and believes Thanatos betrayed and sealed him away. Simultaneously, a large group of guilds, funded by a shadowy figure, unites with the goal of taking down Asura's support structures and then Asura himself. The protagonist encounters the Lethe Queen, who questions him about his connection to Thanatos and reveals the Lethe are dream shamans blessed by Toshyp, but are wary of Thanatos. The chapter hints at a possible connection between Thanatos, Hypnos, and the sealed god Toshyp, while also showcasing the protagonist's growing web of allies and enemies.
