Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist receiving a new, high-stakes quest involving Thanatos's apostles, promising powerful rewards but with a harsh penalty for failure. He sets sail for Toshyp Island, a mysterious, monster-infested place hidden by illusions, guided by his master's apprentice. As they arrive and begin exploring the island, they discover ancient inscriptions revealing a connection to both Thanatos and another forgotten god, Toshyp. The chapter ends with them realizing the island's namesake may be a clue to the truth behind Thanatos.
