Synopsis

The chapter opens with characters discussing the impending war within the Thanatos Church, where bishops are being promoted to cardinals. A fallen god, seemingly seeking to use the chaos to establish themselves, attempts to attack. Meanwhile, a hidden group, guided by the Apostle of Sleep, aims to leverage the situation for their own gain, focused on securing the Wyvern's essence. This is all overseen by a mysterious sky god, and there is talk of an incoming conflict from Japan.
