The chapter opens with the protagonists being surrounded by enemies in the forest after leaving Chunfeng Tower. One character, seemingly the 'Boss', tells the other to sleep and claims to be able to help them. Then it appears the 'Boss' intentionally brought the other character into the situation, knowing they were being followed. The chapter ends with the 'Boss' revealing the ambush and implying that he had ulterior motives for bringing the boy there.
