Synopsis

The chapter opens with a wounded masked man who was stabbed and thought to be mortally injured, being surprised by his opponent's second attack. He then seems to be saved by the arrival of an Elder who commands his second to kill the masked man. However, this elder quickly recognizes the masked man is an advanced spirit, and identifies some of his magical abilities. The chapter ends with a recognition of the power of the masked man's sword and its combination of space and dark elements.
