Synopsis

The chapter begins with a character being confronted by an opponent who seems reluctant to kill him. Desperate, the character offers to help in exchange for his life, then uses a mysterious elixir, claiming it will boost his cultivation to incredible heights. He dramatically declares he underestimated his opponent, but soon finds the elixir's power is far too much for his body to handle, resulting in his apparent failure. A notice follows, thanking readers and recruiting staff.
