Synopsis

The chapter opens with Wang Chaoyan about to execute Xiao Chen, taunting him about his impending death. Xiao Chen surprisingly states that his imminent death is not a tragedy, and that had his executioner acted just moments later, he would have been destroyed by the power of the thunder crystals in his body. Xiao Chen claims the attack actually helped him calm down the thunder crystal's energy. He goes on to state Wang Chaoyan's master wants him killed but instead wants to keep Xiao Chen's powerful puppy.
