Synopsis

Jinning City's monster outbreak is quelled thanks to the military's intervention, with the protagonist, Fan, being treated like a VIP by a Colonel. However, Fan collapses from overexertion and absorption of alien artifacts and is unconscious for three days. Upon waking, he discovers the monster outbreak is linked to a larger conspiracy involving a higher-up in the capital, and also that the Li family, who he believes were responsible for the outbreak, are considered victims, leading him to question the official narrative.
