Synopsis

Yinyue realizes the monster den and blocked exits were deliberate traps targeting her. She reveals to Zuo Fan that infighting is common among Starfall Families, and they escape through a hidden subway passage. While discussing their pasts, Zuo Fan reveals his personal quest to uncover the truth behind his mother's death and his father's imprisonment. They are then ambushed by Yinyue's uncle, revealing the mission was a setup to kill her.
