Synopsis

The chapter opens with the group under attack by a pack of D-rank Eaglefoxes. Lacking ranged options, they form a defensive "Ron Bucket" formation to protect their injured captain. One Eaglefox is wounded, and Xiao-Fan pursues it, leading him to the Eaglefox nest inside a familiar cave. He discovers that the nest is within a mutated giant tree emitting the light of an alien artifact, potentially a C-rank treasure, which he intends to investigate further.
