Synopsis

The chapter begins by establishing Zuo Fan's father, Zu Hui, as a hero who was branded a traitor after a monster outbreak and given a suspended death sentence. Zuo Fan, despite being a reserve Starfall Warrior, faces severe prejudice as the son of a traitor, causing him to be ridiculed at school and unable to find work. Desperate, he accepts dangerous mercenary missions in F-rank monster dens, barely surviving. The chapter culminates with Zuo Fan vowing to not only survive but to rise above his circumstances and uncover the truth about his father's betrayal.
