Synopsis

Initially, the protagonist grapples with their prejudiced view of Vikir, realizing he is actually a kind and hardworking volunteer, while others view him as a hero. Meanwhile, the antagonist Quilty is revealed, along with his activities of selling exemptions and sending reports to a powerful cardinal. The protagonist also identifies Quilty's four elite escort guards, including the masked man from a past encounter, and recognizes the danger they pose, concluding that eliminating them is crucial before targeting Quilty. Finally, the protagonist interacts with another volunteer, seeking a more casual relationship with Vikir.
