Synopsis

The chapter opens with a group of upperclassmen bullying a freshman, forcing him to drink a large quantity of a high-alcohol mix. The protagonist, observing the situation, notes the presence of renowned heroes from the past war, now seemingly regular students, among the crowd of onlookers. The bullied freshman is revealed to be the protagonist's friend from a past life who had always been bullied, leading the protagonist to intervene on his friend's behalf, vowing to not let him get humiliated.
