Synopsis

Vikir, reveals the power to control Baskerville through a black whistle and the ability to absorb blood and regenerate, even from deadly poisons. He demonstrates this ability by recovering from a poison intended to kill demons. The Ten Corpses, seemingly elite fighters, reveal they also use Baskerville techniques, creating a dangerous situation for Vikir, who had not prepared to fight them all at once. The chapter ends with Vikir realizing the severity of his situation, but also considering his options.
