Synopsis

The chapter shows demonic forces plotting to use humans as a resource for magic power, aiming to open a gate to the demonic realm and bring about the downfall of humanity and the Baskervilles. Simultaneously, Hugo summons Vikir and surprisingly apologizes for his past actions, revealing his awareness of the hatred he caused, and expresses gratitude for Vikir bringing Pomeria back, and the information about his daughter, Penelope's happiness. This unexpected kindness and confession cause Vikir, who was planning to kill Hugo, to question his desire for revenge and his understanding of Hugo, as the cold Hugo he knows may not exist anymore.
