Synopsis

The chapter details the brutal training regime of the Baskerville family, who are nicknamed the 'Berserker Family', and how their children undergo a harsh practical survival exam in a monster-filled mountain called 'Le Rouge et le Noir Mountain'. The rules of the exam are given, and one prodigy is observed as he sets up his camp in an unexpected fashion, seemingly hiding instead of actively hunting monsters initially. The chapter ends with this prodigy entering a restricted area, determined to start his hunt.
