Synopsis

The chapter opens with discussions among a hunting party, highlighting doubts about their female commander, Aiyen, and her slave. They speculate Aiyen's slave is a burden. Aiyen is later shown demonstrating her archery skills by flawlessly piercing a boulder and then the ox-bear hiding behind it, silencing doubters and displaying her hunting prowess and precision.
