Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist and his group preparing to enter a special instance dungeon, which materializes based on a player's deepest desires, often related to past choices. Inside, the protagonist is confronted with a recreation of a past quest where he had to choose between saving a team of players or civilians, and he regrets saving the players as they were needed for the game. He meets a former opponent he had to kill within that quest, and while previously he killed this opponent, this time he hesitates and chooses to back down, hoping to change the past.
