Synopsis

The chapter exposes the meta-narrative, revealing that Gods are observing humans as players in a game they created. Sehan discovers an in-game forum and chatroom used by the Gods to discuss the ongoing 'game,' and realizes they were talking about him and Jisu. Sehan uses this information, as well as some in-game items he acquired, to prepare for departure from the safe zone, prioritizing Jisu's safety and defense with a dropped dagger and other purchased equipment. The chapter concludes with Sehan and Jisu leaving the safe zone for what is going to be a more difficult area, with the chapter focusing on how Sehan has an advantage.
