Isellin recounts the destruction of her family's estate and the sacrifice of her father which lead to her escape. She arrived at Rebreka after hearing rumors of a Lich, hoping to investigate, but discovers that the Lich is someone she recognizes, Joshua, a former ally of the Kaiser. A powerful holy warrior has also arrived, sensing a great evil which suggests a large scale battle is about to break out.
The chapter reveals the tragic past of Isellin, whose family was killed and estate destroyed, and ends with the discovery that the Lich is actually someone she knew, Joshua. A large scale battle appears imminent.
