A character, possibly a prince or noble, agrees to help someone become emperor in exchange for defeating his own enemy, Evergrant. Simultaneously, the Magic Tower, under a new master, seeks to claim a powerful primordial stone from the elves and conquer the continent, leading to the destruction of the elves' protective barrier and a celestial gate opening. The Emperor is revealed to be manipulating events, using the upcoming conflict as a trap to lure his enemies in for a major military victory, inspired by a historical figure. A lot of political plotting as well as direct magical attacks are being set up.
The chapter focuses on two main plots: a power struggle involving a protagonist making a deal to overthrow an enemy and a looming conflict surrounding the Magic Tower and a primordial stone, setting the stage for a massive war.
