Synopsis

The chapter opens with Balmong challenging Joshua, but his attack is easily blocked. A flashback then shows Balmong's past, where he was recognized for his talent but became lazy due to his family's obsession with him being the best. He was later given an order that lead to him encountering and wanting to surpass Joshua. The chapter highlights the difference in their power and Joshua's 'God of Thunder' ability and Balmong's own technique, and the final pages are his attempt to utilize and failed at applying a complex aura technique.
