Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist easily defeating cave trolls, showcasing his butchering skill and loot. He then discovers the cursed nature of the trolls and speculates a connection to other past cursed monsters and the main quest's villains. He also begins considering the motivations of past adversaries to understand why they interrupted the main quest progression. The protagonist then explains the dungeon's time-independent nature and introduces new, low-level monsters before finally reaching the main region populated by individual trolls, concluding with a giant bat attack.
