Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist formally join the Crossroad Garrison, granting him new abilities, such as the ability to control other users and an engineer subclass after completing a questline involving gnomes. He also receives the title 'Honorary Citizen of Crossroad' for being the first human to be accepted by the three species living in the territory. The chapter ends with him meeting Garrison leader Malkin, whom he knows from his past life, where they have a tense exchange but ultimately gain a positive relationship.
