Synopsis

The chapter focuses on Jakul, who is confronted about his involvement with the bloodstone condensers and the newly risen obelisks. He explains they're part of a ritual to condense human souls and are powered by life force extraction, and built upon research from an ancient ruin. Jakul is revealed to have tried to flee due to the chaos and the man named Rokan, but was caught, and another character tries to warn Rokan to leave since he cant be saved from the ritual. Despite the grim revelation and the risk of death, Rokan chooses to stay and attempts to help Rolf.
