Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist arriving at Minerva's armory, a treasure trove of powerful divine relics. Minerva offers him any item, but he declines, showing he is not easily swayed by worldly desires. Minerva then reveals the reason she invited him was to discuss Mephistopheles' obsession with him, stating it is because he closely resembles a person named Abyss, which Mephistopheles is searching for. The protagonist reflects on this information, attempting to connect the dots and find the meaning of 'Abyss', ultimately realizing he needs to forge his own path, as it is different from Abyss.
