Synopsis

The chapter starts with the protagonist learning that he must complete a sudden quest to earn the favor of a Divine Being, with the risk of death upon failure. He decides to make a bet with the Divine Being for a greater reward if he succeeds in killing a challenging monster. In preparation for the challenge, the protagonist decides on the Berserker class, which is deemed ideal to quickly clear the challenging task and obtain the prize, which is the sacred dagger and potentially more favor from multiple interested gods.
