Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist expressing relief that the black magic was destroyed, admitting he wasn't sure the necklace's spell would work but took the risk anyway. He receives a secret letter from Sir Ian revealing the emperor's poisoning was caused by black magic and a group called the Dragons Order. The letter instructs the protagonist to use the enclosed necklace and potion and, if the necklace fails, to kill him with the potion. He then meets his father and Ian, signaling a continuation of the mystery and building anticipation for what's to come.
