Synopsis

Herbert Leon, the Tower Master, invites the protagonist to his lab, claiming he wants to dispel rumors of black magic research. He then attempts to recruit the protagonist, stating he wishes to mobilize powerful magicians and protect the empire, appealing to the idea of becoming a hero. However, Leon reveals he uses black magic, despite initially denying it, showcasing an artifact for portal magic. The protagonist, having prepared for such a scenario, confronts Leon, drains his mana and reveals he was not fooled by the tower master.
