Synopsis

Ian has graduated and is celebrated as a powerful magician. He is given the choice of assignments and picks Feric, a place with increased monster activity, where the previous mage died. Ian's family, including his mother and Douglas, express their feelings before he departs, with a bit of teasing about how he should be addressed and the implication that Ian is now Douglas's older brother.
