Synopsis

The chapter reveals the story of a painter whose grief led to his spirit being trapped in a painting that now drains life from its viewers. The protagonist, investigating the disappearances, discovers the Black Turtle-Snake Division has arrived and claims to have sealed the painter's spirit, but the painting remains active. A tense confrontation with the rival division's second-in-command, Jeong Pung, occurs, and the protagonist is wary of their claims.
