Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist's realization about difficulty leading to greater rewards and him venturing off alone. Meanwhile, a group laments being left behind, but are given a chance at survival via runes and are pushed to earn their keep by hunting. Simultaneously, another group seeks to learn more about the protagonist, while the protagonist himself is preparing for a fight by strategizing with runes and items, realizing he needs to push his limits.
