Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist and allies entering a hidden tomb filled with high-grade magical items. They then discuss the difficulty of identifying demon-god worshippers, specifically Cardinal Aldean, a respected figure suspected of being a heretic. The chapter culminates in a confrontation where Aldean reveals his demonic powers, using parasites to control others, and the protagonist reveals himself to be back from the dungeon raid earlier than expected.
