Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist confronting a powerful demonic presence linked to a long-dead dragon. He recalls his fallen companions and realizes that he needs to use a forbidden Saint skill which lets him borrow power from the future, but drastically reduces his lifespan. As he unleashes this power he confronts his past and resentment towards the temple and the goddess for having favored someone else, leading to the questioning of his life choices and a feeling of unfairness.
