Synopsis

Lee Jongzan, the Escort King, publicly declares the end of his escort mission for the Peach Blossom Valley, emphasizing their need for self-reliance and independence. This bold move is perceived as a failure by some, but it allows the Peach Blossom Valley to establish itself without being seen as dependent. Meanwhile the valley is confronted by the Nine Dragons of Sichuan, who seek to disrupt them, but are met by the arrival of the Tang Clan and Qingcheng Sect, who have decided to help protect the Peach Blossom valley, setting the stage for a large-scale conflict.
