Synopsis

The chapter begins with the capture of a group attempting to expose weaknesses in the Murim Alliance's security. Led by Ha Jongdo, the "Bottled Viper", a disciple of the Ethereal Thief, they argue that their failed attempt proves the security's inadequacy. The Murim Alliance leaders, including Jang Chopung and Seol Intak, decide to use them for a transportation mission after a suggestion from Stormy Escort Sword instead of directly punishing them. The chapter concludes with a reveal that this entire sequence was part of a calculated plan.
