Synopsis

The chapter reveals the protagonist's group has been ambushed by the Green Mountain Ghostly Blade and his allies, who were lying in wait rather than following them. The protagonist is rescued by Bottled Viper, an infamous thief and former member of the Three-Dragon Stronghold. He reveals his knowledge of hidden routes, and after some initial hesitation, agrees to guide them to the Murim Alliance, leading them through a secret path to avoid further encounters. The group camps at Bottled Viper's hidden shelter, and his identity as the Ethereal Thief's disciple is revealed.
